II. Initiating The Process

  1. The buyer sends payment for the account, including the middleman fee.
    1. Usually, the buyer pays the middleman fee, but you can negotiate with the seller.
    2. Ensure that both parties confirm their intent to proceed using a middleman.
    3. If one party denies using a middleman, immediately report to administrators for resolution.

  2. Once the Middleman confirms receiving the payment, the seller can begin transferring account credentials to the buyer.
    1. Changing the email is of utmost importance.
      1. Obtaining the initial email from the seller reduces the risk of retrieval.
    2. Changing the phone number is challenging as it's often lost in the void. If it brings peace of mind, consider changing it.

Buying a Steam Account Guide

  1. Research and Selection
    • Identify the type of Steam account you want to buy (game library, level, achievements, etc.).
    • Check the available games, their status (installed or not), and any additional content.
    • Review the Steam profile, including reputation, friends, and playtime.
  2. Contacting Sellers
    • Contact potential sellers to discuss the account's details and pricing.
    • Ask questions about the account's history, VAC status (anti-cheat), and market transactions.
  3. Verifying the Account
    • Request screenshots or videos showcasing the account's game library, inventory, and other details.
    • Ensure that the account's games and items are legitimate and not obtained through fraudulent means.
  4. Securing the Transaction
    • Agree on a payment method that both you and the seller are comfortable with.
    • Consider using an escrow service or a trusted middleman for added security.
  5. Account Transfer
    • Receive the account's login details, including username and password.
    • Log in and change the account password immediately.
  6. Changing Account Details
    • Change the account's email address to your own secure and verified email.
    • Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for increased security.
  7. Post-Transaction Steps
    • Log in and verify the account's games and items once again.
    • Ensure that all communication with the seller is concluded and documented.
